Networking event at The Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel 20th June

In hindsight, having an event on the same day as an 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 game probably wasn’t the best idea BUT that being said, we still managed to host a successful business networking event at one of our regular venues, Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.

The reason our networking events are so popular is that we manage to attract new people each time, unlike some networking events you’ll often find the same people in attendance at each event and if your goal is to broaden your connections and relationships with likeminded individuals then this could put you off.

At MBH we pride ourselves in offering new audiences at each of our events. Last weeks event attracted over 70% new people and our previous event over 50%! 🎉

Some of our members and regular speakers couldn’t make the event but heres a bit of information about the ones that did:

We had Aaron Dean from Adam Partridge Auctioneers & Valuers hosting on behalf of MBH and what a fantastic job he did! He showcased some of the interesting and peculiar items currently up for auction, from glass bird sculptures to sewing machines, it was a very interesting presentation!

Wes Wilson from Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel was showcasing the new and improved reception area and bedrooms as well as the upcoming plans for a new function/meeting room, ideal for private parties, meetings or networking events! Opening later this year.

George Morrison from Flownamix, providing the event with his excellent photography and videography skills. George and his team provide a comprehensive social media service with fantastic results!

John Sewell from Greenlight Computers, our sponsors from MBH inception 5 years ago. Greenlight Computers provide the very best in IT support and marketing services, for both businesses and freelancers.

Our next networking social event will be held at The Alchemist Bar & Restaurant Ltd on New York St. This isn’t an event to miss, with a welcome drink, canapés and snacks throughout the evening as well as being held right in the middle of Manchester cocktail week so expect a fantastic buzz both within The Alchemist and in the surrounding areas!
